God is not impressed by outward displays—He is after the heart. In Joel 2:12–13, the Lord calls His people to return with their whole heart, with fasting, weeping, and true surrender. Obedience to God does not exempt believers from suffering. Faithfulness does not remove weight, delay, or endurance.
